He was born in Cameron, WV son of the late, Samuel E. and Bernice (Hartzell) Littell.
Sam graduated from Cameron HS and was a Veteran of the United State Army and a member of the Moundsville American Legion. He worked as a Coal Miner, and was a Corrections Officer with the WV Department of Corrections.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Littell.
He is survived by his love of 28 years, Veronica "Bonny" DeTemple; children, Austin Littell of McMechen, and Shannon Littell, Brandon Littell Tucker, and Jeremy Littell all of Moundsville; brothers, Richard (Linda) Littell, Edward (Carol) Littell and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 11 am at the Moundsville Legion.
