Samuel Robert Lord, age 34 years, formerly of Plymouth, passed away suddenly October 14th in Westport, MA. He was the son of Kristen Crociati and Robert Lord, and the brother of Ryan Lord. He was born in Plymouth on January 5th of 1990, attended Plymouth Public Schools and subsequently became a member of the US Army, excelling in boot camp at sharp shooting and leadership where he commanded his unit until diabetes caused him to be medically discharged. After his military service, Sam worked in a number of roles including landscaping, plumbing, retail, and as an extra in the movie Spotlight. He was a kind soul who loved people and his pets. He would give you the shirt off his back even when he was dealing with his own challenges. He was an excellent artist, enjoyed games, was a movie buff, and was a collector of valuables.
Besides his parents and brother, he will be sadly missed by his stepmother Connie Lord, Sister-in law Nicole (Brundige) Lord, two grandmothers Judy Crociati and Maureen Lord, his uncle and aunt Mark and Suzanne Crociati, uncle and aunt Peter and Kim Crociati, aunt and uncle Christine (Lord) DePaquale, and Mark Depasquale, cousins Colin and Lauren Crociati, Cassidy (Crociati) Colletti, Craig Crociati, Nicholas Crociati, Ashley Depasquale, Corey DePasqual, Katherine Lord, Caleb Lord, and many second cousins. He joins in heaven with his grandfathers Mario Crociati and Robert Lord Sr., and his uncle Michael Lord. As well as his beloved dogs Nori and Suki.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sam's name to Plymouth Veterans Services 26 Court St. Plymouth MA 02360
