Mr. Samuel Meat Man Vincent Richmond

Mr. Samuel "Meat Man" Vincent Richmond, 59, of Peoria, Illinois passed away Monday, October 3, 2022.
Samuel affectionately known as Vincent was born on October 11, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Hilton and Eloise (McCullum) Richmond. He married Deetra Bradley in 2017 in Peoria, IL.
Vincent was a 1980 Richwoods High School graduate where he played basketball. Vincent had a great work ethic. He worked for Dixon's Seafood on University for many years. He later worked for Kroger on Wisconsin Street as a Butcher for over 30 years. He also worked for Vonachen Services, Inc. (VSI) and last worked at the Peoria International Airport in maintenance.
When Vincent entered a room, he lit it up with his enormous smile. Vincent was loved by everyone and he loved everyone. His signature sign-off to people was "I love You". He was a Die-Hard Dallas Cowboy Fan! He enjoyed going to movies and loved watching movies on Netflix.
Vincent leaves to cherish his most precious memories his wife, Deetra Bradley of Peoria, IL; his parents, Hilton Richmond of Peoria, IL and Eloise Richmond of Peoria, IL; three sons, Julius Lewis, Isiah Thompson and Jalen Bradley all of Peoria, IL; five daughters, Shylow Humes, Kayla Thompson, Asia Abbey and Eterica Bradley all of Peoria, IL and Courtney Lewis of Houston, TX; two brothers, Avery Hightower and Bruce Smith both of Peoria, IL; three sisters, Theresa (Terrence) Smith-Harris, Joyce Bradley and Karen (Donald) Smith all of Peoria, IL; fifteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra McCullum.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at New Morning Star M.B. Church with a visitation beginning at 9 am. Pastor Cleveland Thomas, Sr. will officiate and Pastor Marvin Hightower of Liberty Church of Peoria will bring forth the eulogy. Vincent will be laid to rest at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
