Samuel Perry Obituary
Sam was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School with the Class of 1972. He found employment as a butcher for many years, and then as a cook at various restaurants. He married Marilyn Harris on June 19, 1999, in Sault Ste. Marie.
Sam enjoyed playing hockey and softball. He also enjoyed shooting pool in several different leagues, watching NASCAR and Detroit sports (Red Wings, Lions and Tigers).
Sam is survived by his daughters, Sara (Ken) Beck of Canton, Michigan, Samantha Perry of Cape Coral, Florida; his granddaughters, Kennedy and Hadley Beck; his brother, Thomas (Beverly) Perry of Madison, Alabama; and his nieces, Natalie and Erika Perry.
Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, and parents, Joseph and Vivian Perry.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later time.
Family Life Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.

I played hockey with and against Sam for years as kids. Sam almost always had a big smile on his face.
For some reason that I can´t remember we usually greeted each other saying senator, senator.
It´s probably been 50 years since I´ve seen Sam, but I remember him as a great guy.
Rest in peace Sam.
