Samuel Ralston Obituary
Born on August 24, 1938, in Madison, Indiana, he was the son of the late Samuel Sr. and Mary (Shaw) Ralston.
Sam was a 1961 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering. He dedicated 35 years of his career as an electrical engineer at PPG Industries. He was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carrollton, a proud member of the American Legion, and an enthusiast in the Antique Tractor Club and the 2 Cylinder Club. He honorably served his country for three years in the U.S. Army and an additional two years in the Reserves.
He is survived by his son, Donald (Diane) Ralston of Green; three grandchildren, Johnathon (Rachel), Nichole, and Bryan; and two sisters, Glenda Fritter and Janie Belford.
In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his two wives, Linda Lee Ralston and Ginger Ralston; and a grandson, Jacob.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 22, 2025 at noon in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home. He will be buried at Caledonia Cemetery in Vevay, Indiana.
