Samuel L. “Sam” Vranesh, age 63, of Wautoma died unexpectedly Saturday, November 9, 2024 at his beloved family farm.
He was born April 11, 1961, the son of Lawrence G. and Esther Vranesh. Sam attended school in Wautoma. Later, became a cook and worked at numerous area restaurants including, Country Kettle, Wood Lake Resort, Johann’s, Blader’s Dakota Inn, Klancy’s and L&E Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells. He had recently been employed at Brakebush Brothers in Westfield. Sam loved the outdoors and enjoyed bonfires, his fairy garden, his dog Bella and doing carpentry. He will be deeply missed by his loving family.
He is survived by one sister, Bonnie Vranesh-Woodliff, Wautoma; brother-in-law, Bruce Woodliff, Coloma; two nieces, Jennifer “Ruggee” (Mike) Vranesh-Henke, Wautoma and Melissa Doman (Don), Wautoma; two great nieces, Alex Below, Wautoma and Dekota Doman, Wautoma; two great nephews, Lawrence Below, Wautoma and Justin Doman, Wautoma; best friend, Benjamin Houghton, Coloma. He is further survived by other relatives and friends including Matt Steinke.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Dakota Town Hall, N1470 State Road 22, Wautoma, Wisconsin.
