Samuel Tucker Obituary
Samuel Leon "Sammy" Tucker, 68 of Tuscaloosa, passed away May 16, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Magnolia Chapel South from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Leon and Ann Tucker, grandparents; Robert and Essie Mae Rinehart and Madison and Essi Tucker and sister; Sandra Tucker.
Survivors include his sisters; Pamela Tucker Carter of Lincolnton, GA., step brothers; David Scoggins, Danny Jenkins, Tom Morgan, nephew; Chris Porter and Robert "Bob" and Nancy Rinehart, Fran Rinehart (late John Rinehart), Ruby Rinehart (late Cullen Rinehart) and many cousins.
Sammy was a thrill seeker, no matter how tall a cell tower, how fast the car or how big the motorcycle he was taking to the limits. He was a kind and passionate man, always thinking of those needing his help. He was a graduate of Holt High School and retired from Kroger in Tuscaloosa.
He was the rock for his sister and he will be missed . We love you Sammy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Allen, Tim Chism, Richard Norton, Alex Morrello, and Tom Morgan.
