Samuel Wilhelm Obituary
Sam grew up in Brookville, Ohio where he spent the majority of his life. In his late 20's, he became a Licensed Massage Therapist, and most recently became a Certified Reiki Master and Teacher. Sam enjoyed the outdoors and loved finding new places to hike. He also loved spending time with his beloved cat, Charlie. Sam was well-loved and respected by his peers and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Sam is survived by his mother, Glenda (Joseph "Mike") Plumbo; father, Michael Wilhelm; siblings, Dan (Emily) Wilhelm, and their children, Nora and Emmett, and Ashley (Casey) Adkins and their children, Mila and Orson; aunts, Vicki Pemberton and Margie (John) Wysocki; uncle, Melvin (Pat) Wilhelm; as well as numerous cousins and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Martha and Glenn Sowder; paternal grandparents, Wanda and Everett Wilhelm; uncle, Gary Wilhelm; aunt, Rosalee Wilhelm; and uncle, Harlan Clemmons.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A Celebration of Life will begin at 7:00 pm.

Sam was the best masseuse I'd ever gone to, without question. He had such a kind, gentle demeanor, and a great sense of humor. I recently had a son and I wish Sam knew that his middle name is also Alexander. I think he would've liked to hear that. Sending my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
