Samuel Benjamin Wright, born on September 2, 1940, in Horry County, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 84.
Samuel dedicated his life to hard work and integrity, having spent many years as a laborer in the manufacturing industry. His commitment to his profession and family was unwavering, providing a steady foundation for those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Liston Wright and Flaudie Thompkins. Samuel leaves behind his beloved wife, Carlene Wright, and sons, Samuel Benjamin Wright Jr. and Robert Wright, four grandchildren he loved and adored. His legacy is further carried on by a host of extended family and friends who cherished his presence and will hold his memory dear.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
Samuel will be remembered for his dedication, love, and the quiet strength with which he faced life's challenges. May his soul rest in peace.
