BROWNSVILLE, TX. - San Juana Rangel Galvan entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 30th of October 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. She was 49 years of age.
San Juana was born in Brownsville, Texas on June 5, 1976, daughter of the late Francisco Rangel and Josefina Sotelo Rangel. She was a very happy person, joyful, kind, and giving. San Juana worked for the Cameron County Health Department as a clerk for over 20 years until her retirement. Her favorite pastimes included dancing and cooking, and family gatherings.
Preceding San Juana in death are her parents, Francisco and Josefina Rangel.
Survivors include her husband, Jesus Galvan; her children, Jesus Galvan, Jr. and Valeria Galvan; her siblings Francisco Rangel, Jr. (Tomasa), Herminia Rangel (Adriana), Jose Luis Rangel (Excenia), Juan Rangel (Nancy), and Angel Rangel (Zoila); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, the 3rd of November 2025 between the hours of eleven o'clock in the evening and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at seven o'clock Monday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude Monday night. Cremation will follow.
