Sandi Smith Obituary
Sandi was born on March 29, 1946. She was the daughter of Orace and Leona Foster and had lived in New Paris since 1973. Sandi formerly worked at Reid Health, Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and NASA. She also owned and operated Medworks. She was a member of Lifespring Church North. Sandi enjoyed photography, painting, home improvements, birds, and her 2 cats.
Survivors include her son Kris Smith; sister, Judy Thompson; nephews and nieces, Roger McReynolds, Terry Wayne McReynolds, Ricky Hicks, Dawn McMurray, April Folsom; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Ty and Cameron Smith, and her parents.
Visitation for Sandi Kay Hicks Smith will be from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
