Sandor Lukacs Ede

Sandor Lukacs Ede of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on May 14, 1964, to Istvan Lukacs and Julianna Varga in Budapest, Hungary.

After graduating from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Sandor became an engineer with a focus on computer science. Following graduation, he accepted a job offer in Brazil before later moving to the USA. He worked as an IT specialist for more than 30 years at a reputable multinational brokerage company in Greenwich, CT.

He married Zsuzsanna Kovacs in 2003, and together they shared 23 beautiful years. Sandor loved exploring, reading, learning, helping others, and spending time with his family, especially with his son. He will be remembered as an extraordinarily kind, intelligent, and loving father, husband, and friend who cared deeply about others.

He is survived by his wife, Zsuzsanna; his son, Zalan; and his brother, Istvan.

Visitation will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, March 29th at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Prayer Service will follow at 5pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
