Sandra Lee Affonso

Sandra Lee (Johnson) Affonso, 73, of Tiverton, wife of Albert Affonso, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Dawn Hill Rehab and Healthcare, Bristol, RI. Born in Washington, DC, the only child of the late Lloyd Johnson and the late Alfreda (Plaza) Johnson, she lived in the New Bedford area most of her life and resided in Tiverton for the past 16 years.

She was educated in the New Bedford School System and received an associate's degree in accounting from Kenyon-Campbell. Prior to her retirement, she worked for 32 years in various capacities with the local utility company.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Stacy Medeiros (husband Marc) of Rehoboth; a son, Brian Padelford (wife Cheryl) of New Bedford; grandson, Corey Medeiros; and granddaughters, Violet and Elisa Padelford.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Visitation to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 9:00 am from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in St. Theresa Church at 10:00 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
