Sandra M, Bargo, 91, of Annville, Ky went home to be with Jesus on March 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Edith Douglass, siblings Roberta McAlister and Susan Fournier, husband Elbert Bargo, Sr., her daughter Lisa Rawlings and son Marion Linton, Jr.
She is survived by her brothers Daniel and Leslie Douglass, daughter Melanie Vandy and husband Jerome, sons Randy Bargo and wife Lisa, and Marvin Bargo, Jr. Five step children Mary Royal, Elbert Bargo, Jr., Marvin Bargo, Sr., Susan Wilkins and husband David, and Kenny Bargo and wife Debbie. Grandchildren Jennifer Perez, Julie Evans, Charles Bauer, Jr., Angela Allen, Veronica White, Lonnie Bargo, Brandon Bargo, Danny Bargo, Sarah Murphy, Elizabeth Thomas, Lisa Snyder, James Bargo, Reva Overbay, Olivia Hoskins, Travis Vandy, Ryan Bargo, Gage Bargo, and Mackenzie Bargo, and numerous great grandchildren.
Sandra was born in Swampscott, MA and grew up in Buckfield, Maine. After graduating high school she enlisted in the United States Air Force. She often spoke of her loving family and wonderful childhood where she enjoyed spending time near the ocean.
Sandra devoted many years to teaching Sunday school and playing the piano during worship at the London Church of the Nazarene.
At the age of 58, she returned to school and became certified to work as a medicine aid at Laurel Heights.
She shared her love of Jesus Christ through her dedicated service to others.
Sandra's family and friends are comforted by their cherished memories and think back with pride on her many accomplishments. Her strong character and dedication to her faith and family should be an example for all to follow.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday March, 30, 2024 with visitation beginning at 1pm and service at 2pm at the London Church of the Nazarene. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
