Sandra Brewer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ozark Funeral Homes - Anderson on Dec. 20, 2025.
Sandra Kay Hampton-Brewer, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 19th, at the age of 66, surrounded by those who loved her.

Born on June 24th, 1959 in Amarillo, Texas, Sandy lived a life rooted in love, family, and devotion to others. She was a steady presence and guiding light to her family, known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, strong faith, and compassionate love. Her home was a place of comfort, where laughter was shared, stories were told, and everyone felt welcome.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Sandy loved the Lord and lived her life as a reflection of His grace. She found strength and peace in prayer and trusted in God's promises, even through life's challenges. Her faith shaped the way she loved others-selflessly, patiently, and without condition-and served as a testimony to her family and all who knew her.

Sandy was a devoted mother to her four children and their spouses. She found her greatest joy in being a Grandma/Grammy/Gammy/Lala to twelve grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one great-grandchild, each of whom she cherished and loved deeply. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured, encouraged, and loved unconditionally.

When she wasn't greeting and helping clients as the kind and sincere voice of the Anderson Animal Hospital- She enjoyed spending her time reading her Bible, gardening, tending her flowers, cooking, but most of all spending time with her family and her pets. Those who knew her will remember her for her compassion, welcoming and warm voice, her strength, her wisdom, her patience, and profound love.

Sandy is preceded in death by her son Jason Russell Brewer, grandparents Thomas and Alta Faye McGehee, parents Edward and Myrna Lynn Hampton, and her aunt Nancy Jane Glancy. She is survived by children Matthew and Angie Brewer of Noel, MO, Jeremiah and Ebenee Brewer of Anderson, MO, Kimberly and Travis Bowser of Shreveport, LA, and Kaitlyn and Kolby Henson of Neosho, MO, along with twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and sister Frankie Knudson.

A visitation for the celebration of Sandy's life will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:30. Flowers may be sent to Ozark Funeral Home or donations made to I'm your Huckleberry Animal Rescue.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her, rejoicing in the comfort of knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior.
