Sandra Faye "Sandy" Brooks age 72 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on July 12, 1953, in Butler County, Kentucky, Sandy was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Glenward E. and Ruth Faye Deweese Daugherty, and her husband, Allen Lee Brooks, Sr. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her loving family, including her son William Givens and his wife Jennifer; her stepsons, Allen Brooks Jr. and his wife Tammy, and Darrel Brooks and his wife Amanda; her stepdaughter, Jennifer McCombs and her husband Todd; her adored grandchildren, Emma and Lucas Givens; and several step-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.

She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Daugherty and his wife Betty; her niece, Jennifer Piper and her husband Dean; and her nephew, Jeremy Daugherty, all of whom hail from Morgantown, Kentucky.

Sandy was a member of Mt.Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, and she embraced with grace and dedication the role as a homemaker. Her interests were simple yet profound, rooted in the joy of everyday life. Sandy loved cooking, gardening, but above all, Sandy's greatest pleasure was the time she spent with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 1:00pm with Bro. Danny Mooneyhan officiating. Burial will be in the MtVernon Cemetery where Lucas Givens, Andrew Deweese, Dean Piper, Darrin Evans, Trent Brooks and James Brooks will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2026 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
