Sandra Marie "Sandi" Brown

Sandra Marie (Spell) Brown "Sandi" age 77 of Burnsville, MN passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2024. Sandi was born on November 21, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN to Peter and Joan Spell, and was a beloved granddaughter of Greek immigrants.
She graduated from Washburn High School (Class of '64) and later the University of MN with a major in theater. An avid lover of the arts, she worked for the Minnesota Orchestra in the public relations department for many years and was on the board of directors of the Bloomington Civic Theater.
Sandi is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Brown. She is survived by her loving son, Jason and his wife Marta; granddaughter, Nadine; sister, Mary (Kim) Rice; cousins George (Barbara) Chresand, Jim (Margo) Chresand, Tom Chresand, Stephanie (Gary) Netolicky, Bill (Tiki) Spell, Barb (Gregory) Dovolis, Diane (Dennis) Cramer, Bill (Katie) Gochis, Dean Gochis; brother-in-law Jerry (Sue) Brown, sister-in-law Bridget (Rick) Soja and many friends.
Voracious reader of mystery and Nancy Drew novels, devotee of Lucille Ball, classic movies, and was a fervent Democrat.
Celebration of Sandi's Life will be held from noon-2pm on November 9th at the Ames Center in Burnsville. RSVP no later than October 23rd to sandibrownmemorial@gmail.com
