Sandra Kay Burnside, age 80, of Big Sandy, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Burnside was born on June 18, 1945, in West Virginia to the late Roy Gordon McGee and the late Leora Bonnell McGee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jay Burnside; brother, Richard McGee; and sisters, Beverly McGee, Barbara Gross, and Wilma Criss. Mrs. Burnside loved reading, working puzzles, playing cards, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Daughters: Pam (James) Jones of Camden, TN Debra Burnside of Buffalo, IN Deanna (Josh) Fitchpatrick of Buffalo, IN Michelle (Steven) Hart of Decatur, IL

Sisters: Sharon Harveth of Lumber Port, WV Rose Brammer of Clarksburg, WV Karen Burrs of Fairmont, WV Patricia Nutter of Tennessee Jean (Denny) Davisson of Clarksburg, WV

Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 27, 2025, from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Fisher Funeral Home in Logansport, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 12 Noon at Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, IN. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Sandra, please visit our floral store.
