Robert Eugene Nethercutt

Robert Eugene Nethercutt, 78, Logansport, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Chase Center.

Born July 7, 1947, in Logansport, he was the son of Ralph and Mabel (Hardy)Nethercutt.

Bobby was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed going to car shows and festivals and watching old Westerns.

He is survived by his children: Darlene (Brian) Rumell and Randy Nethercutt; grandchildren: Dayton Rumell, Fallon Henderson, Wyatt Rumell, Trenton Nethercutt, Trevor Nethercutt, Cory Eller, Kendra Lightall; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Truman Nethercutt, Tom Nethercutt, and Evelyn Downs; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years and the mother of his children, Sandra Adcock Nethercutt; his second wife, Lynn Nethercutt; daughter Gidget Swafford; siblings: Ralph Nethercutt, Jr., and Carol Heaton; and half-siblings: Harold Osborn, Darolyn Osborn, George Osborn, and Josephine Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, February 9th in the Logansport First Church of the Nazarene,109 West Clinton St., with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Private burial will be in Davis Cemetery at a later date.
