Jean Ann Fox

Jean Ann "Nan" Fox, 70, of Star City, IN, passed away at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, IN on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1955, in Logansport, IN to the late Henry Oscar and Martha Murlene (Crist) Cornell.

Nan attended Star City Schools before graduating from Winamac High School in 1973. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Thomas P. "Tom" Fox. On December 13, 1975, Nan married Tom at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski, IN. She was proud to be a farmer's wife and devoted her life to caring for her family and supporting the farm.

Nan graduated from Wright Beauty Academy and worked in several local salons before dedicating most of her time to raising her children and supporting the family farm. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Pulaski White Rural Telephone Cooperative for 12 years.

Nan was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed casinos, bowling, baking, playing cards, attending festivals, and traveling. In life, she was one of the luckiest people. Whether it was a raffle, slot machine, lottery ticket, or a game of Yahtzee she was always winning. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Bart (Cindy) Cornell, Denver, CO – Brother

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.

Visitation will be held from 3–7 PM EST Monday, February 9, 2026 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

A Scriptural Wake Service will begin at 7:30 PM EST Monday evening at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Faker officiating, followed by a Christian Mothers Prayer Service.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM EST Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski with Rev. Anthony Rowland and Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery South in Pulaski.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Star City Volunteer Fire Department or Christian Mothers.
