Sandra Cato Obituary
Sandra Louise Cato, 75, of Pelion, SC, passed away March 15, 2023. She was born in Greenville on December 4, 1947 to the late George Robert Burnett, Jr. and Annie Christine Cody Burnett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Cato, her sister, Priscilla Brazell and her brother George Robert Burnett III.
Surviving are her children, Darrell Knox (Tina) and Kristina Yakshaw (Chris) and Mary Anne Smith (Bryan), along with five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her brothers, Bobby Burnett (Frances), Pat Burnett (Tom), Michael Burnett and her sister, Wendy Burnett.
Sandra was a graduate of Olympia High School. She loved to cook for the family and especially holiday meals. She loved all of her animals.
A visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd., Lexington, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
