Sandra Louise "Sandy" Christensen

Beautiful wife and loving mother, Sandy, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Sandy was born in Price, Utah, and grew up in West Valley City. She was the proud mother of two sons, Clint and Chad-her greatest joy and the high point of her life. She spoke of them often and with deep love. Sandy adored her children and grandchildren, and her heartfelt desire was that each of them would come to know God and Jesus and have them present in their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Oragale Fairbourn, and her brothers, Robert, Dale, and Gale. She is survived by her husband, Kay Christensen, sons and their spouses: Clint and Cassie Player, and Chad and Teresa Player; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and more blessings yet to come. A private service will be held in Sandy's honor. A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and caregivers from Aspen Ridge Hospice. Their compassionate care for Sandy was beyond words. The family is eternally grateful for their professionalism, kindness, and unwavering support-not only for Sandy, but for each of us during such a tender time. The family would also like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported Sandy and the family throughout this journey. Your love and kindness have meant more than words can say.
