Jacob Villaseñor, 40, passed away on September 6, 2025, in Eagle Mountain, Utah. He was born on April 15, 1985, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, to Moisés Villaseñor Ramírez and María de los Ángeles García González. Jacob graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2004, where he played on both the junior varsity and varsity soccer teams. He went on to play for UVSC (now UVU) and was active in multiple leagues, including futsal, indoor, outdoor, and Latino soccer leagues. His unique style of play made it seem as if he were dancing across the field-an unforgettable talent that earned him admiration, respect, and friendship throughout the soccer community. He received many trophies over the years, but the greatest prize he carried was the love he gained from fellow players. He also dedicated himself to coaching, most memorably with La Roca and the girls' soccer teams he cared for so deeply. He left an indelible mark on the lives of the young athletes he mentored, always encouraging them with his passion, humor, and heart. For the past six and a half years, Jacob worked with Stone Security, where he became a beloved member of the company family. He gave his whole heart to the people he worked with, always willing to help anyone in need without hesitation. Outside of work and soccer, Jacob loved spending time with family and sharing his silliness with them. He cherished his "bebés," Togo and Rocco, who brought him joy and companionship. He enjoyed playing soccer at the Timpanogos Indoor Soccer facility, where his presence and talent made a lasting impact. He loved jeeping in the mountains, taking in the views, target shooting, and spending time with friends-always making them feel safe and bringing laughter with his goofy personality. Above all, Jacob treasured time with his mother. Caring for her and being with her were the most important and meaningful parts of his life. His family is deeply grateful for the love and support shown by his soccer community, his friends, his close companions, and his Stone Security family. Jacob is survived by his parents, Moisés and María; his siblings, Angelita, Moisés, Priscilla, Chonita, Efraín, Lucio, Soledad, Aaron, and Abraham; and his beloved dogs, Togo and Rocco. Funeral services will be held on September 12, 2025. A viewing will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Please share memories and condolences at www.serenityfhs.com.
