Sandra K. Cox, 64, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at Firelands Regional Hospital. She was born on August 19, 1961, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Henry and Frances (Shelley) Hersha, and attended Norwalk High School.

Sandra enjoyed making latch hook rugs, older country music, writing in her notebook, and playing board games. She loved listening to ELVIS and her daughter sing.

She is survived by her daughter, Shanan Oblender and son, Matthew Cox, both of Norwalk; grandchildren, Maverick, Galataya, and Natalia Cox; sister, Christine Dunlap; nieces, Nicole Stover and Lori Jenson; great niece, Madisyn Adams; great nephew, Izaya Stover; and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorene Penwell, William "Bill" Hersha, Larry Hersha, Michael "Mike" Hersha; aunt and uncle, Florence and Earl Sams; and many cousins.

In a final act of kindness, Sandra elected to be an organ and tissue donor, donating to help as many others as she possibly could.
