Sandra J. Doherty

Sandra Jean Doherty, age 75, of Plymouth, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1947 in Boston, daughter of the late Leo and Margaret Cook.
Sandra is survived by her husband John Doherty; daughter, Kim Hutchinson and son in-law Tom Hutchinson; sons, Brian and Keith Callanan; grandson, Ryan Callanan. Loving sister to Lorraine Ahern and Mary Barbone; brothers, Joseph, George, Louis, Fred, David, John, and the late Leo Cook.
Sandra graduated from Milton High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Skidmore University in Saratoga Springs, New York. While being a mother and homemaker, she was employed at Gillette, First National Stores, and retired as the Operation Manager at MPG Newspapers.
Sandra was very active and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching her children and grandchild on the playing fields and ice rinks. She also enjoyed skiing and golfing. Sandra adored her friendships she made playing golf as a member of
Plymouth Country Club, Pompano Beach Golf Course, and Squirrel Run Golf Course.
She was a strong, determined, and independent woman. Throughout her life she led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that she would not tackle. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please celebrate
her life by making a donation to your local cancer organization.
