Sandra Parker Dossey passed away June 2, 2025.
Sandra was born on August 16, 1946, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to parents Ray Wilburn Parker and Jessie B. Cole. She graduated from Bolton High School in 1964. September 16, 1966, Sandra married her best friend and love, William J. Dossey. Sandra was a vibrant woman who loved life. She loved playing lunchtime and evening sessions of bingo, travelling to Las Vegas and Shreveport to play the slot machines, and enjoyed music from the older KVIL radio station like Michael Bolton, Kenny G and Michael McDonald and loved performers like Tom Jones and Sam Smith. She loved a good shopping trip with her cousin Patsy at Kohl's and Ross. She enjoyed family trips to South Padre Island and watching television- especially Hallmark movies, Supermarket Sweep and Murder She Wrote.
Those who preceded Sandra in death are her son, Joel; sister, Charlotte; granddaughter, Lola Faye.
Those left to cherish and remember Sandra's memory are her husband, William J. Dossey; sons, Chris Dossey of Kaneohe, Hawaii and Kevin Dossey and his wife Natalie Dossey of Haslet, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider making donations to the American Heart Association in honor of her granddaughter Lola Faye Dossey.
