Mrs. Drexler was born July 17, 1946, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Raymond Walker Lawrence, Sr. & Charlie Kolock Lawrence. During her younger years she went to school in Albany, Americus and Long Beach, California before returning to Fitzgerald, Georgia. Mrs. Drexler was a 1965 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and was a beautician for 40 years. Mrs. Drexler was a member of the Central Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Drexler of Fitzgerald; her children: Brian & Joy Drexler, MeLinda & Billy Benton and Tim & Julie Drexler; and four grandchildren: Christopher Drexler, Cory Drexler, Megan Benton and Mason Benton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond W. Lawrence, Jr. and several aunts and uncles.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
