Sandra L. Driskell

Sandra L. Driskell, 69, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 12:48 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
She was born on May 1, 1954, in Rosiclare, IL, to Milton C. and Floy L. (Bouchez) McGowen. She married Gary D. Driskell on June 3, 1972 in Dexter, MO.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Gary of Metamora; sons, John (Pam) Driskell of Sunnyland, IL and Gary (Maggie) Driskell, Jr. of Pekin, IL; grandchildren, Dustin Casley, Sarah Driskell, Kody Horsley, Arissa Driskell, Travis Driskell, Ameal Chafin, Zachary Chafin, Faith Driskell, and Jasper Driskell; great-grandchildren, Tristan Coy, Colton Coy, Silas Driskell, and one on the way; sisters, Penny Walker of Malden, IL, Marcy McGowan of Bernie, MO, Elizabeth (Darren) Pennycuff of Bartonville, IL; brothers, Joel McGowen of TN, Michael (Linn) McGowen of Peoria, IL, Brian McGowen of TN, and Jeffrey McGowen of Bernie, MO; and brother-in-law, Steven Smith of Mapleton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Revina Smith.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
