Sandra Lorraine Early, age 77, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.
Sandra was born November 18, 1946 in Shiloh, Illinois, a daughter of Theodore and Tessie (Ing) Archer. Sandra grew up and spent most of her life in Virden, IL. She attended SIU and earned a Masters Degree in Education. She worked as Librarian at Chatham School District. After retirement she moved to Southern Illinois in 2000. She loved her pet dogs and made jewelry, sewed, gardened and enjoyed raising house plants.
She is survived by her significant other Robert Loftus of Marion, IL; one daughter, Jennifer L. (Andrew) Suthard of Murphysboro, IL; one grandchild, Jordan Schaefer of Salem, IL; and her two other grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son, Stephen D. Edds and her parents, Theodore Payne and Tessie Lorraine Archer.
No services are planned for Sandra Early. Blue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
