Sandra M. Edger (formerly Pack, nee Powers) passed away after an extended illness at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY.
She is survived by: her significant other Julio Ramirez (aka Cano, the love of her life); her son Michael Jay Pack; her six grandchildren - Aria, Collin, Tyler, Emma, Isabelle and Skylar; her siblings - Lauren S Strait (Ricky, nee Powers) and Cathleen A Phalen (formerly known as Parsons, nee Powers); as well as her long term friend Shirley, who was only ever a phone call away whenever she was needed by Sandy. The family would like to acknowledge her as an angel amongst us. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents - Richard Thomas Powers and Patricia Anne Powers; her siblings - Cynthia Lee Powers, Dickie Tom Powers, and Roseanne Barone (formerly Hazen, formerly Roman, nee Powers); and nephew Stephen J Parsons Jr.
Sandy cared deeply and honestly about her family. She loved her nursing career and caring for the elderly within in it. She continued doing that until she no longer was able to. She loved many dogs and cats in her lifetime and her veterinarian shows on tv.
There will be no calling hours or burial services, per her request.
