Sandra Ann Goble

Brevard - Sandra Ann Farmer Goble (Sandy) passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her mother Willie Breckenridge Turpin and father William Sanford Farmer.
She went to be with Jesus and is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Howard Kenneth Goble, her sister Jane Ellen Lovin, and her sister in Christ Cynthia Fletcher and incredible caregiver, sent to us by the Lord and is now family.
Sandy was graduated from Vanderbilt University with a nursing degree and obtained a masters degree in psychiatric nursing from the University of Maryland where she taught on staff for a brief time. She loved school and at one point in her working career obtained two other degrees for fun from UNCC while working as a nurse in the infirmary.
She practiced compassion, understanding, acceptance and forgiveness. She was a woman in Christ who wrote and gave out her incredible poetry, speaking the Gospel to all who would listen.
Her passion was mental health advocacy, speaking on behalf of NAMI on the state and national levels.
Her hope was when she was taken from us that she would have made a mark upon at least one soul for Christ.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation to an animal shelter of your choice would be Sandy's desire.
