Sandra "Sandy" Graham, has passed away at her home in Warsaw on September 5, 2024. She was 76 years old. She was born on July 5,1948 in Blacksburg, Virginia, to William Lee Davis and Vivian (Graves) Long
Her life was characterized by unwavering dedication and a spirit of service that touched the lives of many.
Sandy spent her formative years in Blacksburg Virginia. She was a graduate of Blacksburg High School, where her zest for learning took root. She furthered her education, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Management. With a strong work ethic, she became a cornerstone of the Virginia Tech office, contributing significantly as an Administrative Assistant, in Human Resources and in Enrollment. Her professionalism and support were invaluable, making a lasting impact on the institution and those fortunate enough to work alongside her.
A devout Christian, Sandy was deeply committed to her faith. She volunteered with unwavering enthusiasm in various capacities at her church, embodying the principles of compassion and kindness that guided her life. Her baking skills were cherished by friends and family alike, as she often shared her delightful desserts, creating sweet moments of togetherness.
Beyond her professional responsibilities and volunteer work, Sandy had a passion for leisure activities that brought joy and connection. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, which often brought the laughter she was known for. Sandy's love for travel took her to nearly every state in the U.S. and several countries, allowing her to explore diverse cultures and create lasting memories.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include her sons: William "Bill" Nolan (wife, Janette) of Columbia, Mississippi & James Nolan (wife, Tammy) of Claypool, Indiana; two grandchildren: Leah Nolan & Katherine (Adam) Bridgewater; her mother: Vivian Davis and a bonus family including step-children: Donnie Graham, Sherrie Breeden & Sabrina Casey; several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her father: William Davis, her husband: Henry Donald Graham and a brother: Kenneth Davis.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with care of Sandy Graham. There will be a family led Memorial Service at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 South County Farm Rd, Warsaw, IN 46580 on Monday, September 9, 2024. Friends may gather with the family from 1 to 2 pm. Beginning at 2 pm Sandy's life will be celebrated in a Memorial Service. Gathering and Service will be held on the lower level.
In lieu of flowers, gifts should be considered for K-21 Cancer Care Fund; the fund helped Sandy during her battle with cancer.
