Sandra Hoffman "Sandy" Grigg

Sandra "Sandy" Hoffman Grigg, 79, of Gastonia, passed away January 15, 2025, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
She was born January 31, 1945, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Paul Hoffman and Kathleen Roberts Hoffman.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia.
Sandy had retired from Southern Bell where she had faithfully worked from November 30, 1963, to October 1, 1994.
She was a family historian and loved researching family history. She enjoyed quilting, golfing and fishing.
She had a great admiration for shoes and purses.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, January 20, 2025, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Dr. Josh Glandon.
The family will receive friends 2-3 prior to the service at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
Sandy is survived by sisters, Kay Sparrow (Donnie), Beth Brown; several nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Steve Grigg who was a US Army Veteran who proudly served during Vietnam; brother Bob Hoffman; brother-in-law, James Brown.
