Sandra A. "Sandy" Guttery

Sandra "Sandy" A. Guttery, 79 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 27, 2024, at her home.
She was born on November 11, 1945, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Carmi A. Knight and Freda Mae Rouanzoin. Sandy was a graduate of Zanesville High School. She owned and operated Sandy's Restaurant at Military Bowling Lanes and worked at Exxon and Moto Mart for many years. She loved crafting and traveling to her craft shows, cooking, and baking homemade cookies and desserts for family and friends around the holidays. Her favorite artists were Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty, as she would listen to them every day. In her spare time, Sandy loved going to BINGO and playing slot machines, as she would say, "Ding Ding Ding". Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her 3 daughters: Tina Huntsman, Tonya (Tom) Hale, Jodie (Tim) Dunn; sister, Betty Lawyer; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles "Bud" Guttery; son, John Edward Guttery; brother, Leo Knight; son-in-law, Rich Huntsman; brother-in-law, Don Lawyer.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date.
