Sandra Hayne Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Funeral Home - Apple Valley on Jan. 2, 2026.
Sandra Lou Hayne, age 75, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026.

Sandy is survived by her children, Rebecca (Mark) Nutter and Scott Hayne; her beloved grandchildren, Charlotte, Emily, Zoe, and Ava; her siblings, Cheryl Gerkin, Sharon Deyo (Ron), and Gary Robinson; and other loving relatives and friends.

Sandy was a caregiver at heart, and her life was defined by love and service to others. As a mother and grandmother, she gave endlessly of herself. A skilled homemaker, Sandy showed her love through cooking, baking, and sewing. She worked as a talented seamstress and a compassionate home care provider. She had a wicked sense of humor and an often-uncontrollable laugh. Her care for others will never be forgotten.

Visitation for Sandy will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Interment will be held at Lebanon Cemetery.

Our Deepest Sympathy to Scott and Rebecca and their families at this time in their lives.
Sandy was a true and generous loving neighbor and friend to our family. Always there in need.
Sandy drove the night of the 1991 Halloween snow storm because our girls wanted to go out trick and treating.
May your memories carry you through this difficult time.

"My sympathies to Sandy's family. I met Sandy in Junior High and we graduated together from White Bear HS in 1968. She was always sweet and kind. May God wrap his arms around you and welcome you home to eternal life."
