It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwayne Lateef Hayne, who left us on December 2, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on July 7, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York, Dwayne will be remembered not just for his incredible talent as a musician, but for his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to everyone around him.
Dwayne spent his life in the entertainment world, where he captivated audiences with his passion for music. He poured his heart and soul into every note, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of listening to him. His love for music was matched only by his love for family.
He lived in Johnson City, TN, where his warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Dwayne's laughter and creativity will echo in our hearts forever.

Dwayne is survived by two Daughters Egypt Hamilton, and Journey Hamilton; Mother Barbara Singleton; sister Erica C. Hayne; two Aunts Beverly Singleton, Robin Harris, two uncles Ronald Singleton & (Sherita) , Dereck Singleton & (Claudia) and friend/brother Shawn McGirt, and a host of Cousins, Brittany Gutierrez (Bobo Little Sis)
A celebration of Dwayne's life will take place at a later date, where friends and family are invited to gather and share memories, laughter, and stories. The service will be held at [insert location], and all who knew him are welcome to join us in honoring this exceptional man.
