Sandra M. Henry

Sandra Turner Henry, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 6, 2026, at AnMed Medical Center.

Sandi, as she was known, was born on May 16, 1945, in Anderson, SC and she was the daughter of the late Truman Turner and the late Margaret Carroll Turner. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne A. Henry and brother, Jimmy Turner.

She worked side by side with her husband, Wayne until his death in 2024. Together they built and operated Wayne's Overhead Doors in 1975. She always ran a tight ship. Sandi was an avid reader and never missed a trip to the gym. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, boating, and playing Scrabble and Solitaire. She was a member of Roberts Presbyterian Church where she loved her Sunday School Class, choir, and Sunday lunches. Sandi was outgoing, very likable, and more than anything else, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She especially loved spending time with her grands and great grands. She will be missed, but her spirit lives in each family member.

She is survived by her son, Brian Henry and his wife Karmen of Iva, SC; daughter, Lisa Yokeum and her husband Matt of Belton, SC; grandchildren, Megan Quales (Reid) of Honea Path, SC, Marc Henry (Hanna) of Iva, SC; Jonathan Henry (Griffin) of Iva, SC, Austin Yokeum of N. Charleston, SC, Chase Seawright (Kaylee) of Iva, SC, Cayden Seawright of Iva, SC; and, great grandchildren, Preston Quales, Colin Henry, JonBrian Henry, and Macie Quales.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. David Lytle officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
