Funeral services for Sandra Faye Watson Ivey, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 PM until 2 PM on Friday at Higgins.

Sandra was born on January 25, 1941, in Marshall County, TN, to the late Kenneth and Pauline Reed Watson. She dedicated many years of her career to working at Chrysler in Huntsville, AL, and was a devoted member of the West Fayetteville Church of Christ. Sandra had a heart for service and was always eager to cook for others and quick to offer her time, talents, and generosity to anyone in need. She was a strong and hardworking woman, yet her kindness and giving spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Sandra passed away on June 1, 2025, peacefully surrounded by the family she cherished most.

Survivors include her children, Penny (Dwight) Britton, Kenny Childress, Donnie (Rhonda) Ivey, Terry (Peggy) Childress, Toby (Sherry) Ivey, and Patsy Ivey (daughter-in-law); grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle) Watson, Emily (John) Marshall, Kayla (Cody) Jean, Ethan Sanchez; and seven great-grandchildren, Sarah, Britton, Ruby, Noah, Carter, Ivey Kate, and Covaleigh; and her sister, Raetta McBay. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ivey; sisters, Diane Sugg and Karen Knight; and stepson, Kenny Ivey.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Elk River Dialysis for their kindness and care of Mrs. Ivey.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
