Sandra Jackson, a resident of Hyde Park, NY, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 at the Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing in Beacon; at the age of 67. She was born on February 7, 1957, daughter of the late Johnny & Neva (Peeple) Jackson. She was raised in Manhattan, one of four children.
Sandra worked as a traffic agent for several year for the New York Police Department in Manhattan, NY, until she retired.
She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.
Sandra is survived by her two sons, Terence Pressley and Stephen Pressley; her seven grandchildren: Amber Pressley, Terence Pressley Jr., Ashley Pressley, Stephen Elijah Pressley Jr., Dominic Desmond Pressley, Daniel Pressley and Taliyah Leoni Pressley. She is also survived by her two sisters, Francyne Felle-Martinez and Nita Arroy; her beloved godson Paul Arroy Jr; her niece Tameka Arroy-Santiago and Tionne Arroy-Houanche; her nephews Paul Arroy Jr., Sean Pitram, Sunil Pitram, John Jackson Jr., and a several cousins.
Along with her parents Johnny and Neva Jackson, Sandra was predeceased by her brother John Jackson.
The Family will like to give a special thanks to Jeanelle Williams and Heyward McCarley for their support and help to the family.
Her Family will gather to remember & honor her Life on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4-6PM at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York.
