On December 17, 1952 Sandra Kay Knox was born to Ada Knox Howze and Ulysses Anderson. Sandra attended Tulsa Public Schools and was employed at the family bakery and deli before retiring.
Sandra enjoyed spending time with family and never met a stranger. She was known as "Aunt Sand" to many within the community.
After 12 years of dialysis treatment, Sandra gained her wings on April 27, 2023.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sister Demetrice, brothers Leroy, Kenneth, Lawrence, and Raymond, children Shenia, Tracy, Marcus (Marina), Fayetta, and Maurice. As well as fourteen grandchildren, Brittany, Richard, Kamri, Jayden, Aailyna, BeAndre, Bishop, Brea, Aubrey Rodrick, Brandi, Ryan, Typhane and Amauriana, twenty three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Ulyses Anderson, Jr., mother Ada Knox Howze, sisters Idabell, Stella, Barbara, Elaine and Yolanda, brothers Fredroy, Robert, Larry, and George.
