Sandra L. Kurn peacefully went home to be with Jesus on August 27th, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1944 in Brackenridge, PA to Robert W. Kurn and Velda V. Riley-Kurn.

Sandra was the youngest of three children and the only girl. She worked at the Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite in the medical transcription department before retiring after 32 years. Before that she worked as a licensed beautician.

Sandra's hobbies included writing several romance novels, which were never published. She loved to quilt, do embroidery, and read. Every year at Christmas everyone received a handmade ornament as part of our gifts from her.

She loved Jesus with all her heart and will be remembered as very kind, giving, and sassy at times.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Kurn; mother, Velda V. Riley-Kurn; brothers, William G. Kurn and Robert R. Kurn; and niece, Holly L. Kurn.

Sandra is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who she truly loved and adored.
