Sandra Lanning Obituary
Sandra Kay Lanning, age 71, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 4, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Ricky Hurd officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Mrs. Lanning lived in Cobb County for most of her life. She was a dedicated member of Open Bible Tabernacle in Marietta for over 30 years. She absolutely loved her church and being with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wayne Lanning, in 2014.
Survivors include: 3 Sons, Tony (Kim) Jeans, Kennesaw, GA, Jeff (Rosey) Brown, Woodstock, GA, and Joseph (Tami Sue) Lanning, Adairsville, GA; Brother, Jimmy Hayes, Princeton, WV; 7 Grandchildren, Josh, Christian, Jake, Jodi, Alyssa, Devin, and Julie; 2 Great Grandchildren, Amelia and Judah; Special Niece, Raeanne (Chris) Osborne, and their children, Christian and Madelyn.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
