Publish in a newspaper

Born on August 23, 1939 to Jaime Evelyn Bryant-Williams and William Cullen Williams.

Sandra attended P.S. #29 School..and #15 before attending and graduating from Henry Snyder High School - After graduating she worked as a credit investigator for Macy's in New York and then briefly as an Inventory Clerk for Lightolier Company before going to work at the US Post Office, where she worked for 31 years and would become the President of the Postal Workers Union.

She would later meet the love of her life and marry William Malachi on September 28, 1978.

Sandra enjoyed listening to all types of music, she loved visiting and exploring new places, especially when it included shopping and then grabbing a bite to eat, topped off with a slice of Key Lime Pie. She had a love for learning and sharing what she learned with others. She had a love for reading the scriptures and researching the various bible characters, as they related to their worship and relationship with God. Sitting down and talking and exchanging thoughts and ideas, she was always ready to pass on a funny line or two of "Sandra knowledge" and always willing to listen if you needed someone to talk to. She was an avid swimmer during her school years and would often talk about her love of the water and quick to tell you that if you don't know how to swim, it's never to late to learn. Always be willing to learn, life is short, too short to hold grudges but not too short to love each other. That was part of her love of people.

Sandra would speak of her evening telephone calls with Gracie, which sometimes would end up with someone falling asleep on the line, she would say "Gracie you do too much..go get some rest. She also enjoyed when Rasheeda would come over and wash her hair and just chit-chat, also what made her feel special when she could just listen to Sylvia sometimes sing a song or two or just talk about various forms of music, since they had an appreciation for music and she said she had that "magical voice". She liked hearing her niece Lynn talk about her move, she said it was just what she needed as she tended to her to the grand children and the funny things they did, she especially enjoyed going on car rides with Janet as they shared and enjoyed laughter as well as each other's company talking about any and everything or running out with her friend Dorothy to get that can of Pepsi for her night time snack.

She was predeceased by her son Kyle Duke, her husband William D. Malachi, her sisters Mary Jackson and Wilma Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memory her family and friends, Janet Wofford, Lynn Carter, Sylvia Pate-Shell, Gracie Cooper, Phillip Jackson, Dawn Mofala. Lisa Carter, Rasheeda Morrieson, Sonia Guthman, Gloria Turner, Dorothy Chavis and a hosts of other numerous family and friends who were loved and cherished by her as well.
