Sandra Kay "Sandy" Martin

Sandra Kay "Sandy" Martin 59, of Milton, WV, entered her Eternal Rest peacefully on January 25, 2026 at home after courageously battling an extended illness, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born on April 15, 1966, in Charleston, WV, she was a daughter of the late Virginia "Bunny" Williams and Richard Michaels. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving stepfather, Charles "Chuck" Taylor.

Sandy was known for her radiant smile and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of LOVE, remarkable resilience, and unbreakable strength.

She is survived by her soulmate, best friend, and partner through life: Frankie Martin; daughters: Heather Meade (Steven) of Barboursville, WV and Amber Martin of Winchester, KY; sister, Melissa Gandee (Mike) of Nitro, WV; grandchildren: Caedyn Lou Bledsoe (Wyatt), Allison Meade (Layne Reams), Jeremiah Ruby, Nicholas Meade, Johnathan Martin, and Emma Ruby; great-granddaughter, Daisy Mae Ruby; and a great-grandson on the way.

Sandy had a profound connection to her family, notably her sister-in-law, Kimberly Beaver (Kipp) of Culloden, WV; and brother-in-law, David Martin of Culloden, WV. She loved all of her nieces and nephews endlessly: Austin Beaver (Emily), Tony Doniff (Kasandra), Braylon and Carter, Briana Holton, JR, and Zoe.

Mom, we are grateful to have shared joy in the sun, shelter in the storms, and to have laughed in the same moment. We Love You

Funeral Service for Sandy will be 2:00pm Friday February 6, 2026 with Pastor Mark Hesson officiating.

Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service.
