Rock Hill, SC - Mrs. Sandra Bell McDonald, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her home.
The family will receive friends Noon, Friday, January 2, 2026, at Whitesell Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Jeffery McWatters officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
A native of Greensboro, NC, Mrs. McDonald was a daughter of the late John T Bell and Evangeline Faye Daniels Bell. She will be remembered as a lady who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When she ate out her favorite foods were Italian and Seafood. She loved spending time outdoors and cooking. He enjoyed shopping and two of her favorite places were Walmart and Kolh’s. One of her favorite places to go was Charleston, SC where she loved the beaches.
Surviving are her husband, David Paul Bagwell; her six children, Richard McDonald (Fran), Doyle McDonald, Rhonda Westmoreland, Grayson Bagwell (Caitlin), Kara Whetstine (Daniel), and Erin Patterson (Tommy); a brother, Jerry Bell (Carol); 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the family.
