Sandra “Sandi” McLain, 67, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, PA on November 10, 1957, to the late Alpheus Becker and Jeanne (Keiser) Becker of Paradise.
Sandi attended Pequea Valley High School, graduating in 1975. She spent her career working for Lancaster Newspapers and Agway Distribution before working for CNH in Mountville for many years before retiring from there in 2024.
Sandi enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles play. She was an active member in the Bainbridge American Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary. Sandi loved to spend her free time traveling with her sister and sister-in-law and or relaxing in her favorite place, her beach home outside Ocean City Maryland.
There was nothing Sandi loved more than her family. Sandi is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Joesph McLain and her son James McDonald, husband of Crystal McDonald. Sandi leaves behind her beloved granddaughter, Payton McDonald, sister JoAnn Becker, wife of Kim Becker and her sister-in laws Sharon Becker and Deborah Miles. Sandi is also survived by her stepchildren Matthew and Makayla McLain, three step-grandchildren Raylynn, Dalton, Arabella and many nieces and nephews.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Becker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bainbridge Legion Ladies Auxiliary at Libhart-Dyer American Legion Post 197, Attn: Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 335, Bainbridge, PA 17502.
