Sandra Faye McLean, 74, widow of Sam McLean passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Lexington, KY. She was born in Nicholasville, KY on March 26, 1951, to the late Claude and Nancy Smith.

Sandra is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Jimmy) Patterson and Twila (Roger) Long; one son, Sammy (Cathy) McLean; grandchildren, Serenity Long, Dixie Long, Barry Long, Nancy Long, Angelina Long, James "Cody" Oney, Jose McLean, Romero McLean, Sandra Mingua, Kimberly Haven, Derek Patterson and Amber Denny ; great-grandchildren, Silas Mingua, Haven Bell, Blake Long, Samuel Oney, Taylor Long, Sawyer Mingua, Parker Long, Bonnie Jean McLean, Drayton Denney, Kacee Lynn Denney, Dawson Patterson, Carson Haven, Cooper Haven, Case Haven, and Charli Haven ; one brother, William High and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Crowe and Bonnie McLean; one brother, Barry Smith.

A Visitation will be 5pm – 7pm Monday, September 8, 2025, at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing. The funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Passing away She was always was really nice & we went to school together & l always thought a lot of her My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during these difficult times

Momma i miss u more than words can describe u were the best mother a guy could have ever ask for .when I was young u held my hand when I was scared. u
picked me up when I was hurt. u doctored me when I was sick .u stood by my side all through my life. It doesn't seem right that ur gone. U will forever be in my heart the only comfort that I get from this is to know that you are now with daddy and Jesus and the rest of the family. I set here and wonder how I can go on when I lost half of my heart in 2011 and the other half on Tuesday morning. Mom u and Dad was the best parents a guy could ask for I can't remember a time when me or my sisters ever needed anything that you and dad didn't figure out how to get it. I can remember you momma and daddy working your fingers to the bone to pay our way. You and dad are forever in my heart and I can't wait to get there one day to be reunited with you. One day momma until then forever in mourning your son Sammy momma I love u baby
