Sandra Mendieta, age 63, passed away on March 22, 2025. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on March 15, 1962, to Francisco and Anita Mendieta.
Sandra enjoyed watching television, coloring and doing puzzles. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and love for her family. Sandra was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Sandra is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Perez, her mother, Anita Mendieta, father, Francisco Mendieta, and brothers, Lee Roy Mendieta and James Mendieta.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Edward Perez, children, Margaret Perez, Melissa Mendieta, and Michelle Perez, grandchildren, Julian Perez, Adelia Villarreal, Ivan Villarreal, Frances Mendieta, Desiree Ceballos, Anahi Ceballos, Adrian Ceballos, Leo Perez, Jr., Maria Carpenter and Antonio Hepburn, great-grandchildren, Blake Gideon, Grayson Gideon, Gabriella Hepburn, Lucy Moher and Persephanie Moher, brothers and sisters, Cesar Guajardo, Rosie Reyna, Getty Lara, Mildred Jefferies, Lupita Slaughter, Elizabeth Medina and Joyce Wade, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Services will conclude that same evening. To send flowers to the family of Sandra, please visit our floral store.
