Olga A. Tienda, age 71, passed away on September 4, 2025. Olga was born on August 05, 1954, to Ramon and Palmira Abrego. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1973 where she was a Roy Miller Highstepper. She later began working for Corpus Christi Independent School District for 25 years until her retirement. Olga enjoyed spending time with her family, being with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She loved spending time and traveling with her husband to go see their favorite group La Mafia. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and faith. Olga was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Olga is preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Palmira Abrego, her in-laws Roldolfo & Ana Maria Tienda, her brothers Richard and Rudy Abrego, her sisters Theresa Zertuche, Angie Abrego, Gracie Sandoval, Rosie Martinez, and sister-in-law Rosie Caudillo and brother-in-law Gilbert Tienda.
Olga is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Gregorio (Goy) Tienda, children Gabriel Tienda, Daniel Tienda (Connie Ramos), Raquel Tienda, and Maribel Ochoa (Joe Jr.), grandchildren Gabriella Tienda, Isabel Tienda (Eric Leal), Nathalie Muniz (Kai), Ray Ortiz Jr. (Mariah Mason), Bladen Tienda and Maceo Barrera. Great Grandchildren Eliana & Alex "Gohan" Amador, E.J. Leal, Alayna Muniz and Aracely Leal. With two more anticipated great grandchildren on the way Celestia Ortiz and Arielle Muniz. Siblings Raymond (Rosie) Abrego, Ruben (Leticia) Abrego, Yolanda (Ralph) Aguirre, and Vicki Bacon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Olga will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Gabriel and Daniel Tienda, Ray Ortiz Jr., Bladen Tienda, Jeffery Abrego and Ralph Aguirre Jr.. Honorary pallbearer is Maceo Barrera.
