Sandra Mickle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McDonough Funeral Home on Apr. 19, 2024.
Sandra Lee Mickle, 64 of Lowell, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of the late Paul Riel, with whom she shared 6 years together before he passed away.
She was born in Boston on July 13, 1959 and was a daughter of the late Ray Mickle and the late Shirley (White) Mickle. Her formative years were spent in the Somerville and Charlestown area, where she received her education. In the mid 1990s, she made Lowell her home, where she resided until her passing.
Sandra was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, having spent her entire career in food service at establishments like Burger King, McDonald's, and Dunkin' Donuts, where she faithfully served for over two decades. A true people person, she took joy in interacting with her customers daily, always greeting them with a warm smile. Known for her generous spirit, Sandra consistently prioritized the needs of others above her own. In her leisure moments, she found solace in sewing, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her great grandson.
She is survived by her 3 children, Sharline Morrow and her husband, Peter of Lowell, Charles Mickle of Lowell, and Shawn Manning of Lowell; her 2 grandchildren, Adam Morrow and Alex Morrow both of Lowell; and her great grandson, Benjamin Charles Morrow of Billerica.
Sandra also leaves behind her brothers and sisters, Ray Mickle, Ralph Mickle, Martin Mickle, Beatrice Mickle, Theresa Bogart, Sherry Mickle, Evelyne Mickle and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, the late Andrew Robert Morrow; and her brother, the late Bobby Mickle; and her companion, the late Charles Manning.
